Meet the Governors
Mr J Sharpe
Chair of Governors
Responsibility - Chair
I have been a governor at Badger Hill for 3 years, taking over as Chair in July 2016. I run my own building business, spending my spare time looking after my children, and pursuing various hobbies.
I have been involved in education from birth, in one way or another, and can see what a difference it can make to peoples’ lives. As Chair, it is my mission to make sure that at Badger Hill those differences are all positive, emotionally, physically, intellectually and socially, and are delivered with respect and love at their centre.
This is a wonderful school and it is a great privilege to be on its governing body.
Mr Nick Long and Mrs Sheena Powley

I have been a teacher at Badger Hill for nineteen years.I am proud to work alongside such a great team of teachers, teaching assistants, governors pupils and parents.
Currently I teach Year 2 and I am also on the School Development Committee to further improve provision for the learners at our school. I enjoy running the School Choir and being part of the School Council.
I teach Year 5 and I have taught at Badger Hill Primary School for 5 years. Prior to this, I worked at other York Schools. My specialist subjects are Modern Foreign Languages and Literacy. Out of work, I enjoy walking in the countryside and gardening.
I have been a governor at Badger Hill Primary since 2012.
Mrs Jo Bryenton

Mr R Fahy
Mr G Wilkinson
This is my third year at Badger Hill and I am currently teaching Year 6. I am the subject leader for P.E. and the Assessment Co-Ordinator in school. I thoroughly enjoy being in the classroom with my class (particularly when we're doing Maths!) and I always encourage our children to be fit and active by arranging sports clubs and attending sporting competitions.
